Is this any different from a summerhouse or a garden pod?

Considerably. Summerhouses and most flat pack pods have thin walls and minimal insulation, which is why they are pleasant in June and unusable by November. Ours are fully insulated buildings constructed from SIP panels, so the room holds heat properly and stays comfortable year-round. A shed with a plug socket in it is a shed. This is living space.
