What do people around here actually use them for?

A garden office is the most common by a wide margin, and a properly insulated garden room is ideal for offices in a way a converted shed never manages. Beyond that we build gyms, garden studios, an art studio here and there, hobby and leisure rooms, entertainment space with a bar, and a fair number of rooms that quietly become the best part of the house.
