Is EPS or polyurethane better as a core?

Polyurethane generally has a lower thermal conductivity, so it achieves a given performance in less thickness. EPS is usually less expensive. Both are used widely and both work. What matters more in practice is the total thickness specified and how well the panel joints are sealed on site.
