Questions we're frequently asked at Pro Assist Garage Conversions
How do you get power, water and drainage out to a detached garage?
Power is normally taken from the house consumer unit in armoured cable, buried in a trench across the drive or garden, feeding a small consumer unit inside the converted garage. That supply also decides what you can run later, so if you want electric underfloor heating rather than radiators, it is worth saying early. Water and waste need more thought, because the run has to reach existing drainage and sometimes needs a pump. We survey all of it before quoting, so the groundwork sits inside your garage conversion cost from the start rather than arriving as a surprise once conversion work has begun.
