They are wood and plastic based, so like most timber construction they will burn if a fire takes hold. Internal linings such as plasterboard provide fire protection, and the regulations handle proximity to boundaries through the exemption rules described above. The relevant question is not whether the material is combustible but whether the building is specified and sited correctly.
